There was more than just one thing to celebrate at a recent art gallery opening in the Village of Clinton.
New Hartford resident Kathy Donovan displayed some of her recently completed artwork at Anatomy in Motion Pilates and Wellness Studio at 7 Kirkland Ave. in Clinton.
The name of Donovan’s collection of work is called “Offerings.” The gallery opened Friday, June 8.
Donovan said her work displayed at the studio is an offering to the public to see what feedback she gets. She said what people see in her abstract art can help her figure out the story of the piece.
When she sets out to create a piece of art, she said she doesn’t always know the meaning behind it. By displaying her work, she’s able to see what comes back to her from a viewer looking at her art.
