Despite snow, wind, rain and mud galore, hundreds of people did what these kids did and participated in the seventh annual Daniel Barden Mudfest in Deansboro with smiles and fun. Another cold day greeted participants at MKJ Farm, but that’s become the norm for the event that celebrates the life of the Connecticut first-grader who lost his life in a school shooting.
