The rain that pelted our area on Halloween caused major flooding, especially for those living along the Oriskany Creek in Clinton.
Sanford and Norton Avenues had some of the most severe flooding in Clinton, as those areas are closest to the Oriskany Creek. Other nearby streets also saw flooding.
One Sanford Avenue resident said she's "never seen it this bad," referring to all the water in her backyard.
The Clinton Fire Department assisted those who needed help pumping water out of their basements.
