Waterville boys and Madison boys made it to their respective Section three championships and for both basketball teams that’s where their fine seasons ended.
The Eagles gave unbeaten Cooperstown a challenge but the Hawkeyes pulled away in the end for the win.
Sackets Harbor also was the No. 1 seed in their division and used a big third quarter to go ahead for good.
Justin LaMunion (30) was chosen for the Class D All Tournament team. Luke Abrams (2) had a career scoring night earlier in the week vs. Cato-Meridian to help advance Waterville.
He also was an All-Tournament selection for Class C.
