In going through our archives, we realize these photos had not been published. The Bridgewater First Congregational Church celebrated its 225th and 226th anniversary in the fall. Last year’s milestone event was put off due to construction in the church hall. Special music by The Benjamins and stories from parishioners helped mark the event during a special Sunday service. Pastor Alan White accepted proclamations from state Sen. Joe Griffo and Assemblyman Brian Miller. Before having a barbecue together, the congregations posed for a photo.
