CCS Reviews Goal Work

The Clinton Central School Board of Education met last week to discuss new business.


CCSD Superintendent Christopher Clancy introduced Dunkin the Therapy Dog who began work in the District a few weeks ago.


Two public hearings opened for the adoption of the Special Control Officer contract. No members of the public spoke.


The Smart Schools Bond Act was then discussed in the next public hearing.


The proposition of spending $147,865 on classroom learning technology has been posted online for 30 days with no public comment.

Clancy then gave a report beginning with the hiring of Amie Johnson as the CCS Middle School Principal and Elementary Principal Eddie Waskiewicz moving as the CCS High School Principal.


A Capital Project update began with saying the paving and sod for the back alley drainage project is substantially complete.


Construction is continuing on the turf field and track and field section of the complex.


Construction on the Elementary School library is underway.
