Clark Mills American Legion Post 26 and the Clark Mills Historical Society unveiled a Memorial Monument at the Clark Mills American Legion.
The Memorial honors the Clark Mills military personnel who lost their lives in defense of our country during World Wars I and II and the Vietnam War.
The Memorial is the brainchild of Historical Society member and past President Moses Acee.
In 2023, Mr Acee drafted a solicitation letter that the Historical Society mailed.
The goal was to raise $6,700, to fund the cost of the monument and base.
The community response generated over $17,000 in donations.
The finished project, with stamped concrete, improved façade and gleaming monument is a fitting tribute to the huge sacrifices of the small community's military personnel.
