Clinton Approves Zoning Changes

The Village of Clinton Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.
Village of Clinton Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo introduced new DPW Superintendent Aaron Barnes.
The Board approved a resolution to open a public hearing to discuss proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2025 to adopt a budget for the fiscal year commencing June 1 in excess of the tax levy limit.
The Board approved a resolution to open a public hearing to discuss Local Law No. 2 of 2025, an amendment to Chapter 196: Stormwater Management.
The Board approved a resolution opening a public hearing to discuss zone changes for parcel lots 337.019-1-1 and 337.019-1-2 from Planned Residence District to Commercial District.
The Board approved a resolution to open a public hearing to discuss an application by the Lewis Brothers requesting a change in the zoning for 337.015-1-26 and 337.015-1-26 from General Commercial District and Residence District to Planned Residence District.
The Board then opened the Village of Clinton Reorganizational Meeting. Tantillo announced the results of the March 18 Village Elections.
The list of appointments for the Village Board and Responsibilities, and Other Nominations were read.
The appointments for the Clinton Historic Preservation Commission, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals. and Tree Committee were announced.
