Commencement 2024: Clinton Central School

Clinton Central School hosted their 93rd Commencement Saturday morning in the High School Auditorium.

The soon-to-be graduates took their place on stage during the Processional before CCS High School Principal Dr. Matt Lee welcomed the audience to celebrate the graduate's achievements.

Lee shared his gratitude with the Board of Education, Administration, Teachers, Counselors, and Support Staff for helping the students reach their full potential.

Lee led the students in applauding their parents for their hard work and sacrifices for their children.

Amalia Schillinger spoke about physical education teacher Darcey Cross and her impact at Clinton. Cross died a month ago from cancer.

Schillinger gave an emotional speech celebrating Cross' legacy as someone who made students better.

Board of Education President Melinda Leising gave congratulatory remarks from the Board.
