Waterville and Clinton both saw the 2024 fall sports season extend to the last weekend of play. For the Eagles, junior Danny Casatelli placed fourth at the state’s Class D cross country meet which was the highest finish for a runner from Section Three. Comets field hockey player Gabby Gemelli (4) holds up the plaque showing the team’s participation in the state’s Class C Final Four. Clinton lost in the semifinal Saturday to Rondout Valley.
