Berkshire Bank donated $5,000 towards the money needed to renovate the West Winfield Medical Center, which closed in March because of problems from water damage. The fund drive by the Center’s Board raised $80,000 and the facility leased by Bassett Medical Center re-opened this week. Board president Steve Feldman and Sue Korosec, holding the check, gave a tour to Berkshire Regional President James Morris IV, Vice President of the West Winfield Branch Kristine Recchio and Vice President, Relationship Manager John Hobika Jr. The medical office opened in 1963 with help from the Sears-Roebuck Foundation.
