Kirkland Donation

The Town of Kirkland purchased five Automated External Defibrillators to be placed in public places in the town in case of an emergency with someone in cardiac distress.

The AEDs were bought with the help of Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corp. at a discount of $2,200 each.

COCVAC will also provide training for town employees at the Clinton Arena, Kirkland Town Hall, Clark Mills Senior Center and Kirkland Highway Garage.

Deputy Supervisor Garry Colarusso joined COCVAC’s Dave Biamonte, paramedic supervisor; Samantha Wengert, director of operations, and Taylor McLain, responder, in looking over the new equipment.
