There are essentially only three ways to travel.
There is the package, such as a cruise, where the most pressing decision of the day might be whether to choose to take another helping at the buffet or not.
Next is the carefully plotted itinerary where the traveler studies schedules and makes hotel reservations in advance.
The third is succinctly described as “Wing it”.
And wing it we did, after four solid months of paying guests, visitors, family,
accidents, repairmen, two cases of Covid, obligations, dentists, excursions, carpenters, electricians, classes, a funeral, and sob sessions, we were ready for a break.
And when the storm lulled, we did break free, but with no advance planning.
We were tired and in no mood to spend the day in the bus to Puebla, about six hours, and decided to start with the obligatory family visit in Mexico City; four hours. ...
