Loomis Monument In Storage In Sangerfield

At the town of Sangerfield Board meeting in December, Town Historian Carol Wood let the board know the Loomis Gang monument is in storage.


Wood asked when it could be installed.


The board stated that it should stay in storage until spring, and at that time Karl Buschor would take care of placing it.


In May or June a dedication ceremony will take place.


Wood will be utilizing the boardroom and a filing cabinet to perform her duties.


Wood also provided pictures of the Loomis Gang monument.


She requested becoming the town historian in October and

was approved.


Waterville Fire Department Chief Jarrod Waufle and 2nd Chief Sean Baldwin spoke regarding their need for a new pumper truck.


Waufle is doing a grant to FEMA and also to the Barton Fund for assistance with the cost of a new truck.


Codes Officer Dan Ford informed the Board there are now 28 permits issued/requested this year.
