Mount Markham junior Mackenzie Roth won the Section Three Class C-1 discus and placed second in the shot put. Roth will compete in the overall Section Three state qualifier this week. She won the discus with a throw almost 6 feet more than the second-place finisher. The boys team took second in the 4x800 and fifth in the 4x100. Sara Edmonson was second in the 100 hurdles and Amber Piersma second in the pole vault. Dominic Jones was third in the shot put and fourth in the discus. Hamid Williams was third in the long jump.
