Several people gathered last week to help open the new one-mile portion of Kirkland Trails heading north of Dugway Road. Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente, Assemblyman Brian Miller and Kirkland Town Supervisor Bob Meelan joined Trails members and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce for the official ribbon cutting. The group’s next project is developing a trail north of Clinton to Route 5.
