The Clinton and Clark Mills fire departments and Clinton Central School District led the community’s annual remembrance ceremony. Honored for their heroism were CCS graduate Edward Felt and those who also died Sept. 11, 2001 while aboard United Flight 93 when the plane crashed as passengers, including Felt, fought back against the terrorists looking to crash the plane into the U.S. Capitol. Members of the DAR read the names and information about the people on the plane; Felt graduated from Clinton in 1977. Clinton student Alena Wratten played Taps at the end of the ceremony.
