Road Use Approved For Annual Ride

The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.


The board approved a resolution to accept the Feb. 24 meeting minutes.


The board approved a resolution for the use of roads for the 2025 Ride for Missing Children, pending insurance, scheduled for Friday, June 6.


Kirkland Senior Center Coordinator Sharlene Machold said the Senior Center annual banquet is scheduled for April at the Skenandoah Club.


Chip Bassett said the Kirkland Trails Association is meeting March 19 to discuss the $1.5 million TAP grant at 1 p.m.


Clinton Kirkland Improvement Corp President Mike Debraggio thanked the board on behalf of CKIC for their support.


Debraggio said LaBella Associates will be the managing firm for the Small Projects fund.


The board approved a resolution to transfer $150,000 from the Capital Fund for the Salt Barn.


The board approved a resolution to transfer $225,000 to an adjacent fund balance.


The Clinton Figure Skating Club Ice Show is scheduled for March 28 and March 29 at 1 p.m.


The March 30 show is scheduled for 8 p.m.
