Save A Life

Clinton’s CPV Rescue and Sanctuary is taking part for the third time in the Staffworks Fund Save a Life Campaign. This animal-based campaign matches donations given to the sanctuary until the end of December. This year, 39 organizations in 17 counties are taking part in the matching campaign, the Save a Life Campaign website states. Mare Clarey, director of operations at the sanctuary, said because of pandemic restrictions, CPV couldn’t hold in-person fundraising events. The Clinton-based rescue and sanctuary operates solely on donations. If you missed the Dec. 12 telethon, cans and bottles can be dropped off at the sanctuary, Clarey said. A donation can be made to CPV Rescue and Sanctuary by visiting www.paypal.me/cpvsanctuary or by sending a check to 86 Meadow St., Clinton, N.Y. 13323. The sanctuary also has an Amazon Wish List. Since CPV opened in 2017, there have been 356 feline adoptions, with this year’s adoption total being 130, Clarey said.
