Session Outlines DRI Project Fund

The Clinton Kirkland Improvement Corporation will host a public informational session for the Clinton Kirkland Small Project Fund Monday, April 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kirkland Arts Center.


The Small Project Fund is part of the community’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative and is designed to provide grant assistance for transformational renovations and business investments in the downtown area.


Funding is available for building renovations, minor exterior projects, and small business assistance in eligible properties within the DRI boundary.

The SPF application process is structured in two stages to help screen for eligible projects and support strong proposals:


Stage One: Initial Application (Due May 12 by 4 p.m.)

Applicants provide a summary of project location, ballpark cost estimate, and scope overview. This allows CKIC to determine general eligibility and feasibility.


Stage Two: Full Application (Due June 13 by 4 p.m.)

Invited applicants will refine project details, prepare supporting documents, and finalize their application for funding consideration.


The informational session will be led by representatives from LaBella Associates, the consultant team selected to support CKIC in administering the program.
