Members of the Greater Winfield Historical Society learned about a local business, Precisionmatics, last week.
The event began with lunch at the West Winfield VFW of either corned beef and cabbage or hot turkey sandwich.
After lunch, the tour moved to Precisionmatics down the road, where John Pustay and son Andrew Pustay presented a slide show of the history of the company, which was started by John’s father after coming to West Winfield from Hungary.
The company provides parts for various industries, including
aviation and aerospace.
