The Town of Kirkland Board met Monday evening to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution accepting the Nov. 13 meeting minutes.
The Board approved a resolution recording the TAP Grant through New York State, with the paperwork being signed at the December Board meeting.
A sidewalk district with a loop in the Franklin Avenue and Meadow Street area is being proposed. A public hearing will be held at the Dec. 9 Board meeting for residents of the proposed district.
The sales tax check from Oneida County was received for a total of $656,789.10.
The Board approved a resolution accepting a bid of $4,150 for the sale of a 2015 Ford.
Chip Bassett from Kirkland Trails thanked the Board for their support for Kirkland Trails.
Kirkland Senior Center Director Sharelene Machold said the Senior Center held a bake sale, and one member provided a turkey dinner.
The Library gave a presentation to the Senior Center on their offered services, and the Westmoreland Band is performing Dec. 10.
The Board approved a resolution auditing the payment of bills.
