Work Begins to Choose DRI Projects

With 47 submitted projects, the Clinton-Kirkland Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant gathered the most choices in the state for how to spend the money.


But it also makes deciding how to spend that $9.7 million won in the spring a lot harder.


Last week members of the DRI Local Planning Committee met for their third public meeting at Kirkland Town Hall. Committee members, consultants and state officials spent three hours reviewing the 47 projects and a general scoring method to evaluate them.
